Several years ago hackers have tried to attempt the changes to DNS(Domain Name Service) by spreading a malware called DNS Changer. If it happens the computers traffic may redirect to spammy sites. This may lead to make money for hackers. FBI has had a temporary fix in place to keep traffic away from the bad servers. But that ends on 9th of July. Thousands of computers across the U.S. won't be able to access the internet come Monday, July 9th.July 5, 2012

The Higgs boson, or “God particle,” is believed to be the particle which gives mass to matter. One of the most mysterious and important properties is mass. Some particles, like protons and neutrons, have mass. Others, like photons, do not. God particle also known as Higgs boson is an elementary particle within the Standard Model of particle physics. It belongs to a class of particles known as bosons.More than 100 Indian scientists have been working at LHC. This happened just as 6,000 scientists were starting an experiment on LHC to the predictions of different theories of particle physics and high-energy physics, and particularly that of the existence of the hypothesized Higgs boson and of the large family of new particles predicted by supersymmetry. The LHC is expected to address some of the most fundamental questions of physics.

Now get Google Chrome for Apple iPhone and iPad
Google announced that it has released a version of Google Chrome for iPhone and iPad. The app is available via the App Store for free. . Macquarie analyst Ben Schacter predicted last month that Google Chrome was coming to iOS.The Chrome browser for iOS offers an “incognito” private browsing mode as well as syncing with the desktop version of Chrome. It also offers Google’s own unique tabbed browsing interface. [Direct Link]
Apple’s App Store rules don’t allow third-party developers to offer their own rendering or JavaScript engines.
This means that the iOS version of WebKit must be used by all browsers available in the App Store. But Google’s Chrome for iOS will add its own user interface over Apple’s technical browser rules. Google also released an iOS app for Google Drive. [App Store]

Google has retooled Android to be even more responsive, so that it ramps up whatever power lies within the moment a finger touches the screen. The goal here is to achieve 60 frames per second across the board on modern hardware; that could mean bad news for older devices that may or may not get the update, but phones like the Galaxy Nexus seem to gain horsepower simply due to coding improvements.
One of the main features of the new Google's OS is Project Butter, an improved performance and response time compared with precedent versions, more clear picture, an updated notification system and an enhanced fast search feature with integration of Google Now..

Change The Default Location For Installing Applications

In Windows, when we install any software or a game, it normally installed in C:\Program files. Some applications may give you the Browse option or some may not and carry through silent installation.
This is also useful for computer shop/Internet cafe owners and most of them of them specially here in our place use this trick. They place all the PC games on another partition then freezes the primary disk to protect the windows system files from being damaged any viruses.
change the default location for installing applications. This trick involves registry editing so I highly suggest that you make a backup first on your registry before proceeding with this guide.
1. Run your registry editor by going into Start –> Run –> type regedit
2. Browse to the following keys
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion
3. On the right hand pane Look for the value named ProgramFilesDir. It’s default value is c:\Program Files. Change it as your desired location. such as D:\Games or E:\Programs.

We've the facial recognition login system for pc/notebooks but its first app which provides facial recognition based security to your Android smartphones for free.
This free app simply allow you to use your face as your password. You must have a front facing camera in your device to use the face recognition feature. Otherwise it is disabled and you are only able to use password verification. Its a high level of mobile security and you just need an Android smartphone with a front camera to use face recognition technology. In addition to the applications you wish to protect, you should also add Visidon AppLock itself and any application that can be used to close or uninstall applications or services (task manager, settings etc.) as well as any application that can be used to install new applications (market, my files etc.) to the protection list to get your mobile fully secured.
If you cannot add faces in the training mode (there is no rectangle around your face), please try to set different camera orientations from the settings tab. The default security level is medium. If it seems too low (i.e. other people can get in too easily), you can set it to maximum from the settings tab. The most accurate recognition will be achieved when all the training images are taken directly from front (i.e. no profile images etc.). Also, you should take training images in different illuminations (in those environments where you usually use your mobile). Sufficient amount of images per person is about 5 to 10. AppLock version 1.4 is a free application available to download from the Android marketplace here

Google’s Self-Driving Car "Technology meets you"

Google Driverless Car is a project by Google that involves developing technology for driverless cars. The project is currently being led by Google engineer Sebastian Thrun, director of the Stanford Artificial Intelligence Laboratory and co-inventor of Google Street View. The team developing the system consisted of 15 engineers working for Google, including Chris Urmson, Mike Montemerlo, and Anthony Levandowski who had worked on the DARPA Grand and Urban Challenges.
"When there comes a time that vehicle manufactures market autonomous vehicles to the public, that infinity symbol will appear on a green license plate," Breslow said.
Google's modified Toyota Prius was given the thumbs up after successful test drives in Carson City and on the Las Vegas strip. Alongside the special license, Nevada is the only state to issue licenses for self driving cars. Other states and Washington D.C. have issued temporary permits to allow the cars to be tested on public roads, but Nevada is the only state in which you can legally operate (or, more accurately, allow the onboard embedded computer to operate) a self driving automobile. Nevada became the first state to issue a license for a self driving car in May 2012.
The car was given a unique red license plate to make it recognizable by police and the public as a self-driving test vehicle.
If you live in Nevada, you might want to check the car’s license plate first. If the car has a red plate with an infinity symbol on the left side, you can put your cell phone and your righteous indignation away. The “driver” is likely behind the wheel of one of Google’s self driving cars.
Google’s self driving car is equipped with a manual override which can be initiated by tapping the brake or turning the steering wheel. In that sense, it works much like the cruise control we’re all familiar with. How can it possibly be safe? Here are some of the technological features we’re aware of which allow the Google self driving car to operate safely:
GPS. These days, many of us already rely on our GPS to direct us where we’re going. The embedded computer system in the Google self driving car takes this to the next level by allowing the car to follow GPS directions to its objective without the driver’s hands on the wheel.
LIDAR. Think RADAR, but using lasers or visible light instead of echo-location. The LIDAR system is able to detect objects in front of, behind, and on either side of the car. It can then project a 3D image of them to the car’s embedded computer. This system allows the self driving car to keep a safe distance from other cars, pedestrians, or anything else that might be in the road. The embedded computer can pay attention to all directions at once and is able to react faster than drivers generally can.
Potential Impact of Driverless Cars
When thinking about the potential impact of driverless cars, our thoughts naturally turn to the direct impact they will have on our own driving. We’ll be able to sit back and relax while letting the embedded computer do the driving for us. That is, once we get used to the idea that the computer is a better driver than we are.
That’s not the only potential impact of the driverless car, however. Here are a few things the driverless car could do for us, especially once they start to come into common use:
Will Google be releasing a commercially available self driving car soon? That’s anyone’s guess, but things certainly appear to be pointing that direction.

Apple introduces thinner MacBook Pro with Retina Display
Apple introduced a new MacBook Pro laptop that uses the “revolutionary” retina display that has been previously only used in the iPhone and iPad line-ups.The new MacBook Pro has a 15.4-inch screen with a pixel density of 2,880 x 1,800 pixels, or four times the number of pixels in previous displays. The new display can show videos in ultra-high-definition and display apps with resolutions will look far more crisp than other kinds of laptops.Applications have to update to take advantage of the retina display. Apple has been working with developers to do that. Adobe Photoshop will get an update to take advantage of the Retina display. Autodesk is also preparing a new version of AutoCAD for the new screen.
“Bringing uniformity across platforms is just wonderful,” said Van Baker, an analyst at Gartner. “Now you can look at apps on the smaller devices and then again on the laptop. It’s little things like that, a bunch of little things that are delightful little features that collectively make for a much better experience.”Games will work beautifully on the Retina screen. Blizzard Entertainment’s Diablo III has already been modified to run with the new screen, using the crisp resolution to its full potential.“You will see a gaming experience with this resolution that you have never seen before,” said Phil Schiller, senior vice president of Apple, speaking at Apple’s Worldwide Developer Conference (WWDC) event today in San Francisco. “This is the world’s highest resolution notebook.”

Typography “looks amazing, sharper than a printed page,” Apple said in a video. Apple says photographers have never been able to work on images with this kind of pixel resolution on the run.
“This led us to rethink everything in a notebook,” said Jonathan Ive, head of product design at Apple, in a video.
The 15.4 inch retina display model has 7 hours of battery life, is .71 inches thick (about as thick as the MacBook Air), and it sells for $2,199.
