Next generation internet; 5G WiFi for max speed upto 1.3 Gb/s

Netgear and Belkin have announced dual-band routers supporting the new 5G WiFi, that will boast speeds of up to 1,300 Mbps on the 5 GHz band and 450 Mbps on 2.4 GHz. Netgear’s R6300 and Belkin’s upcoming line of wireless dual-band routers will feature Broadcom’s fifth generation (5G WiFi) 802.11ac chip. 802.11ac chips are three times faster and up to six times more power efficient than their 802.11n predecessors.

The average dual band 802.11n router also decreasing sharply as distance from the router increases, the 802.11ac WiFi standard promises a boost in range capabilities and reduction in "dead spots" through advances such as Beamforming technology that directs content in the direction of the intended receiver. Netgear's R6300 Dual-Band Gigabit WiFi Router will be available this month for US$199.99, while we expect Belkin to announce details of its 802.11ac compatible dual-band router line in the near future.

How to add Google Adsense ads box 'or' new element to Blogger header

This tutorial shows you how to add a new element or Google adsense ads to the header (above the title) for earning more profits.

To add a new element to Blogger header, follow the below steps:

Step 1: If you are using the old Blogger interface:

  • Go to Dashboard - Design - Edit HTML - (make a backup) Expand Widget Template

If you are using the new Blogger interface:

  • Go to Dashboard - Template - Edit HTML - Proceed - (make a backup) Expand Widget Template

Step 2: Next try to find (CTRL + F) this piece of code:

<div id='header-wrapper'>

...if you can't find that one, search for this one:

<div class='region-inner header-inner'>

Step 3: Immediately after one of these lines, you'll see this code:

<b:section class='header' id='header' maxwidgets='1' showaddelement='no'>

Step 4: Replace the values in red like in this example below:

<b:section class='header' id='header' maxwidgets='3' showaddelement='yes'>

Step 5: Save the Template.

Adding the Adsense ad box above the Blogger header:

Step 1: Navigate to Design > Page Elements and view the new option to add a gadget to the header area

Step 2: Click on Add a Gadget link and select the Google Adsense gadget.

Choose the type of ad unit you want. For this example I chose a new linked 728x15 ad unit from the drop down format menu for an AdSense ad that would sit above the blog title. Configure colors if necessary. Color blending is usually done automatically by Blogger according to the color schema of your template.

Step 3: Click Save

Now View your Blog to see your new Google Adsense box. If all is going well, your new AdSense ad box should appear.
